Let’s celebrate the New Year on the fabulous Costa del Sol. Take yourself out of the cold to a warm weather destination. We will be staying at the Hotel Sol Torremolinos Don Pablo in Torremolinos, Spain overlooking Bajondillo Beach.
Come with us as we explore the historic and beautiful villages along the coast in Andalusia.

Scotland 2024
Join us as we travel through Scotland. Our journey starts in Glasgow and moves north towards mythical Brigadoon. We then travel into the Scottish Highlands through Loch Lomond, Loch Ness, Oban, and Inverness. We will find noble castles surrounded by incredible moors. This is some of the world’s most beautiful scenery.
Our tour wraps up in Edinburgh. This is without a doubt one of the prettiest and most historic cities in Europe. We will have the opportunity to visit Edinburgh Castle, The Royal Mile, Holyrood Palace, The Scotch Whiskey Heritage Center, Princes Street, & the Old Town Close. Tulips in Amsterdam 2024
We will be visiting The Netherlands during prime Tulip Season. We will spend five nights in beautiful and historic Amsterdam. This fabulous city has earned the well deserved reputation as the playground of Europe. Our tour takes us to the Van Gogh Museum, Rijksmuseum with its collection of Rembrandt, Anne Frank House, take a Canal Boat Tour, a day trip to Keukenhof Gardens where you will see the largest collection of tulips in the world, and visit Zaasne Schans.

Normandy, Loire Valley, & Paris 2024
Join us as we explore Normandy, the Loire Valley, and Paris. Our journey begins with a stop at Giverny to visit Monet’s Garden and Home. The next two days will be spent in Normandy including the Bayeaux tapestry, WW II Museum at Arromanche, Omaha Beach, the Cemetery at Colleville sur Mer, Mont St. Michel, and St. Malo.
The Loire Valley is our next region to visit which takes us to the incredible Royal Chateaux of both Chambord and Chenonceau. The Loire Valley is home to the world’s best white wines of Vouvray, Sancerre, & Pouilly-Fumé. While heading back to Paris we make a stop at the beautiful city of Chartres to visit its world famous cathedral. We have added an extra day in Paris for you to enjoy the City of Lights.

Croatia Boat Cruise 2024
Join us as we travel to Croatia at the most beautiful time of the year. We will be touring Croatia in a Private Chartered Motor Yacht that can accommodate 34 MGL friends.
We will be visiting all the highlights of the Dalmatian Coast. Starting in the incredible city of Dubrovnik and continuing to Korčula, Hvar Island, and Split. We get the chance to enjoy the beaches of Bol and Makarska, The National Park at Mljet, and the Elaphiti Islands.
Each night we will dock and go ashore for dinner to sample local foods, wines, and beers.
Bringing a swimsuit is a must for this trip. There will be plenty of time to enjoy the Adriatic Sea.

Edible Italy – Lake Como & Piedmont 2024
Over the years many of you have asked about a tour to the gastronomy of Northern Italy. We are finally able to design a tour that starts at Lake Como, one of the most beautiful places in the world. Our hotel in Varenna overlooks the lake with amazing views. A Lake Como boat tour with a stop in Bellagio for a late afternoon Aperol Spritz or Wine paired with a tasting of local foods.
The first of many wineries is in the Valtellina area. Valtellina is the quintessential mountain wine region that is known for the Nebbiolo grape.
We then head into the Piedmont Region for their world class wines and various truffle varieties. Our focus will be in the villages of Alba, Asti, Barolo. A visit to Desana (the center of risotto production) for lunch featuring the varied types of rice produced. We have planned a special tour that makes sure each day you will have a tasting of local food products and wines.

Mike’s Guiding Light knows how to do Sicily. Join us as we spend 9 glorious days exploring Sicily. We begin in Palermo, a wonderful port city. A stop in Agrigento to see the Valley of the Temples is planned as we head south to Siracusa. Finishing in Taormina, one of the most beautiful places anywhere, is a perfect way to end a Sicilian journey.
